Due to the pandemic, many companies have taken to working remotely. However, whilst the pandemic may be in the past, remote working isn’t. With an increasing number of employees stating they expect remote working to be an option on either a full or part-time basis, many employers are left asking the same question. How can we operate a remote working solution successfully? Well, we have the answer with 6 easy tips.

1- Gadgets and Gizmos Galore

It’s not as simple as giving your employees a laptop. You need to assess the job they will be doing versus the capabilities of the device, as whilst most laptops can handle everyday business for roles such as software development, programming or design, you need a device that is capable of running powerful applications. You can either do this by allowing employees to CYOD (choose their own device) or by you assessing their technological needs and providing them with the relevant capable device. 

It is imperative to cover all grounds when thinking about the tech your employees need, sometimes a laptop isn’t enough. They may need a mouse, a second screen or even a headset for use with systems such as the VoIP Business Phone System.

2- MDM, Safety First!

With remote working, many companies are asking, ‘but how can we ensure our assets, data and devices are safe? The best remote working solution to this would be by using a good MDM (Mobile Device Management) platform. These platforms allow you to ensure employees’ passwords meet minimum criteria for security, allow you to wipe and reset a device remotely should you need to, plus much more. 

3- Access Is The Answer
